From Sunday 26th July, we will be opening the church doors again, but things are still far from normal. There will be no singing and no Holy Communion. We will be holding a shorter service than usual, starting at 9.30-10.30a.m. (Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to give time to seat every one with social distancing). The service will include recorded music, prayers and a sermon.
We would not yet recommend bringing children to this morning service. They will have to remain seated throughout, and we are unable to offer our usual interactivity or children’s group. Instead, we suggest families continue to watch us online. We will still be live-streaming our all age service, just at the later time of 11a.m. on our Facebook page
When things return to normal:
At 10am on Sundays, our Communion services have a relaxed feel with contemporary worship songs, bible teaching and prayer ministry.
Children and families are always especially welcome. There is a creche area, with toys, where parents are welcome to sit and play with their children during the service. School age children can go to the church hall, with our dedicated childrens’ team, for their own Bible based games, singing, story, prayer, crafts and other activities for part of the service.
On the 3rd Sunday of the month (Usually, but check our calendar), we have our ‘All Age Celebration’ where the whole church family worship together. This often includes baptisms, action songs, creative prayer, drama and puppets. This is a great event to bring children to!
We hope to see you at one Sunday soon.
