If you would like to have a funeral at St Stephen’s, or perhaps bury the ashes of a loved one in our garden of remembrance, this is usually organised through your funeral director. So, please chat to them first.
After they have made contact with us, Rev Justin Groves will usually give you a call and meet up to discuss your wishes for the service. Of course as a Christian minister, he leads a Christian service. This service can be at St Stephen’s or one of the Newport crematoria. Even if the main service is at the church, Justin can come and do a short service or prayers at the crematorium or graveside too.
